This Is my Twin-Motor Tamiya TA03 Touring Car..... When I started it, there were very few twin motor projects done... a few more have now came into existance now, but I still hope this is of interest, and, perhaps, quite different from other peoples creations...
If you like it or simply are here out of intregue, please leave a comment, I would greatly apprieciate it...

This is its show shell... its 200mm to accomodate the wider rear track... On the 190mm runner shell there is rubbing and it barely fits. With the 4WS mentioned further down... it may no longer be usable...
The rubber bung things you can see on the front of the car are mounting points for a video camera!
Now the bit your probably most anxious to see.... the Chassis!
Your basically looking at a TA03RS TRF converted to long wheelbase with the TA03R Carbon Chassis. Search for full spec but it means fully ballfaced with teflon sealed bearings, alloy bits galore, front one way diff, rear ball dif, stabiliser bars, etc, etc... the full lot tamiya hop up wise anyway...
Its then had a TA03F PRO black front gearbox added and I've done away with the drive belt as tests showed it causes significant losses and friction in the drivetrain. I have fitted out BOTH gearboxes with Tamiya Super Modified 11 Turn motors. These are driven by a KoPropo KSC1200F professional No limit ESC.
I have fitted Yeah Racing Alloy wishbones, and full rear steering and hub setup to give 4WS as below... There is a Acoms AS12 servo upfront and AS11 servo behind... They are not especially expensive servos but I have had no problems with them whatsoever. The shocks have been changed in favour of the short tamiya Super Low Friction Flourine Coated TRF shocks with stiff yellow springs all round!
As you will realise there is too many mods to list fully but you should see from the pictures what your looking at...
The two pics with the Red Audi A4 shell which follow are of the car wearing its runner shell... pictured on the first test run with the two 11 turn motors...

4 Wheel Steering !!! The one thing I really can say about the TA03 Chassis is that its glued to the road so to speak... but this gives it a tendency for understeer, and with steering not being especially tight, this should make taking hairpins faster but also even easier to break traction with all that power!
